Happy Halloween!!

Since halloween falls on a Monday this year I will be spending my evening in my night class giving and listening to speeches (who makes a speech due on halloween?!?!). I'm so upset I won't be home to give out candy to all the cute trick-or-treaters.

I did get to have some of the fun though! Last night my roommate and I went out and bought $25 worth of candy! I think we went a little overboard but we were having so much fun picking out the candy (mostly the kind we like, obviously). We may or may not have snuck a few pieces last night ;)

dBm and I!
Is anyone else handing out candy tonight? Is anyone going to brave the cold and trick-or-treat?
Happy Halloween!!

Let it Snow!?!

Do you see what I see?!

Maybe this picture will give you a better idea....

Yep, thats right there is snow on the ground. First snow fall of the season and it isn't even halloween yet!!

This weekend was quite the busy one!! On Friday night my roommate and I had a halloween get together at our place (I was twister)! Saturday we had a game against Delaware, however it had already started snowing/hailing by that point and there was no way I would be tailgating in that weather. I decided to go home for the night to spend time with my parents. We ate a delicious dinner, sat by the fire, and ended the night watching Bad Teacher (word of advice: don't even bother watching it....the movie was awful). I woke up this morning and loved seeing the snow still on the ground and decided to make homemade hot chocolate! I am back at school now with a whole lot of studying, cleaning, and grocery shopping to do...and lets not forget a ravens game to watch! Here's some pictures from the weekend:

I hope everyone's weekend was safe and enjoyable! What did everyone be for "Halloweekend"?!
Go Ravens!!

Back, again!

It has taken me a while to get back into my college routine. I have rarely had enough time in the day to sleep and do schoolwork, let alone blog!

So far this semester has gone pretty well. I am taking 18 credits right now and semi-regretting that decision  (so much work!!). I am majoring in political science and love love love all of my classes. I could talk about politics for hours, its weird I know, but I just can't get enough!! Last week was pretty hectic with a bunch of tests but it was thankfully followed by a more mellow week this week and pleasing test results. This is my first semester at the school I transferred to and I'm so happy with my decision.

Besides school work I am also working two days a week at the same restaurant I was at this summer/last spring. I can't believe I have already been there for 10 months, time flies! This upcoming spring I plan on joining a sorority...as if my life isn't busy enough?!

Here's just some pictures from this semester!

As for this weekend, I am home with my family. On Saturday morning my mom, sister, and I are going to a local farm to go apple and pumpkin picking! Later Saturday evening my mom, sister, and brother-in-law will be headed up to PA for a haunted house/hayride and then headed downtown to go out! Sunday I will be working and sadly missing the Ravens game.

What are your plans for this weekend?!
